Tail light failure -- not bulb, holder, or fuse V70-XC70 2001

Hey everybody,

My 2001 V70's RH lower tail light is out. Swapped the bulb and its holder to the other side and they worked. All fuses look OK, all other bulbs (incl. license plate) still function. Also there is no warning message as we usually get when a bulb goes out. Any ideas for other things to check? Thanks much.
