I sealed mine due to broken guide rails problem.
Remove plastic guards on each side from the inside to access the sunroof mounting screws. Removed all 3 screws on each side. Remove sunroof from outside. Look for rail jam and remove any broken rail parts to free up the paths. Position rails as if the roof is in close position. Gently put the sunroof back on from the outside to check any blockage. If you want to seal the roof permanently, use pure silicone glue around the rubber seal. Gently put the sunroof back on and screw it from the inside. Make sure that the sunroof is leveled with the roof. Make sure to disconnect the motor at the light location after sealing the sunroof.
Or you may find used rails to replace the old one.
