Did I make a mistake? S80

I bought my 2000 S80 T6 in early 2004 for about $30,000. It had 34,000 miles on it. I had virtually no problems for the first two years of ownership, then things changed. Luckily, included in my $30,000 purchase was an extended warranty that takes me to Aug 2007. It has saved my bacon in the following areas:

1. New Transmission (62,000 miles)
2. Mass Airflow Sensor (66,000)
3. ECM failure (66,000)
4. Oxygen sensors (3) (66,000)
5. Sitting on the lot for three weeks while they secretly worked on a new software program to fix the utterly useless and dangerous software "upgrade" 155. My car began stalling while in full motion after the 155 upgrade as I gather many other 2000 S80 T6's did.

In the past 6 weeks I have driven my car for a total of six times (either from the dealer, or back again). I'm lucky in that I have an excellent service department to deal with.

I asked their sales department to value my car and they claimed they could sell it for $11 - $12,000, and that they would offer me $9,000 for it. They recommended I hold on to it until the warranty expires (or the car does :-) ).

I still owe $15,000 on it, so I think I'll carry on for a while with it. Beyond Aug 2007 I can't see myself driving it, but someone may get themselves a "steal" as I anticipate the car will have been effectively rebuilt by then!
