Good idea, but you were wrong 850 1997

Have you tried a direct connect off of the battery? The compressor wire is mounted on a clip on the front of the compressor, just squeeze, seperate, and run a wire off the positive terminal to it. For me, this worked, so I was back looking at switches. If for you it doesn't (here's the bad news)it sounds like a bad compressor.
