2001 XC70 Nosie Window Switch V70-XC70 2001

I have a 2001 XC 70 and when the ignition switch is in the on spot, wh then the idiot lights are on but the car is not running the window switches make a load humming noise. They still work but this noise is troubling. Has anyone else seen this same problem?
