Thanks for the info. I'm chasing a battery drainer that is intermittent. Can happen in quick as twelve hours ,4 to 5 amps/hr or not happen at all. Concurrently,or the primary cause, I have a theft alarm relay that is chattering and powering the led in the windshield when the motor is running but doesn't do it any other time.
Dark current is a term I heard used long ago in the aviation field and it sounded so appropriate in the context.
