Fixing Mode 'W' 850 1993

I own 1993 850 GLT and today I was drive and the car did something and the Mode "W" engaged and started flashing. I try to shut it off with the push bottom but it is still flash. The transmission seems to shaft without any problem. What is it? and Is is going to cost a lot of money to fix?
