816 CD Malfunction S70

Don't know what happened to your unit, but I've heard that if you try to put the edge of another CD in the cd player, it will activate the motor to pull-in/eject the CD and therefore will eject the cd that is in there. Give this a try and see if it works. It may make your cd player functional again. Another option is to disconnect your battery, enter your radio code and see if this resets everything. Last resort is to take the radio out and see if the connection in the back has somehow gotten dislodged. If all of these don't work, then the unit is bad and needs repair or replacement. Good luck.
