A sad day for my V70 (long)... V70-XC70 1998

What a way to ring in the new year. Rather than unplug the fuse for the seat heaters, just disconnect the wires at the switch. Call a "detail" shop and ask them how much it would cost to clean the inside of the car. Call a couple of yards and find out how much a new passenger seat would cost, console and door molding too. The kbb price sounds a bit high, probably around $7500 in the Twin Cities.
There are a lot of cleaners on the market which will get rid of soot, and if the insurance comes up with a fair price, a 2000 T5 would also be a nice ride.
