I just joined and I have been reading the messages with peaked interest since I am now on my third Volvo.

At present I am experiencing a problem with my rear wiper on my 98 V70. It has stopped working. My Volvo dealer wants to charge me one hour of labour to diagnos the problem. I think it is a mechanical problem because sometimes the wiper moves even though the switch is off.

Has anybody have any advice before I pull off the inside cover a take a look? Thanks.
