Loud noise when starting 850 1986

Recently my car started making a loud scratching sound whenever i start it up. The car starts fine except for this weird scratching noise and then that noise almost echos through the underside of the car. After that the car runs fine. I'm hoping that its just the starter and is easy to replace. Anyone have any suggestions?
