climate control V70-XC70 2000

Having something similar happening to our v70(2000). Once you turn over the engine the climate control goes really load and blows air for a couple of seconds and then stops completely. You mentioned the blower motor, where is that located, and how do I check to know if it is faulty? Thanks.
