I recently purchased a '01 V70 T5 for my wife to replace her '98 V70 GLT that our daughter totaled earlier this summer.
The T5 has everything on it, including the rear-facing third row seat option.
Recently, I lifted the most rear panel which becomes the seat bottom to access the spare tire and jack storage area.
Under this panel is a molded felt cover that is held in position by four black plastic fasteners. The two on the sides are slotted and turn to lock into place. The two in the back are missing and would appear to be smaller. However, my Volvo parts guy has not be able to identify this part number and provide me with the replacement rear fasteners. The best that he was able to do was to provide me with two "push-in" fasteners that will hold the cover in place but will strip the plastic threads the first time I need to remove the cover.
Can anyone tell me what the rear panel fasteners look like and if possible, the part number? I believe that the original fasteners were small black plastic that looked a little like the the control switch on a trip computer.
Any help that you can provide me to solve this small problem would be greatly appreciated. Fred.
