Is the changer getting power to it? Does the cartridge pop out when you push the eject button? If so, then it's getting power. Without power you'll get the error code. The other thing that comes to mind is that the cable from the changer has somehow gotten unplugged from the back of the head unit. push the 2 elongated tabs in on each side of the head unit and they'll pop out...then slide the whole unit out to see if the cable from the changer is still plugged in. Also some of these changers have short cables that use "extension" cables...usually located under the carpet. It may have gotten unplugged. Check for these things before assuming that changer is dead. Good luck!
