I'm purchasing a nice '95 850 turbo GLT sedan for my wife this weekend. Two questions:
1. An O2 sensor needs to be replaced. I can deduct the dealer service cost from the purchase price and do the work myself, or the current owner will have the work done at the dealership prior to purchase. Is this a big job (i.e. sensor is usually stuck, posssibly need to rethread sensor mount, sensor reachable only by an octopus, etc.)? I have the O2 socket for an '80 245 DL; will that fit the '95 850 O2 sensor?
2. In you opinions, how important a tool is an OBD/OBDII reader, which would I need for the 850, and what is a good, inexpensive brand (or expensive, but please justify the added expense)?
