Won't start, wont do anything - dealership (service) doesn't know what it is. S80 1999

So glad you're car is fixed. How did you get them to resolve the problem. I have had a no-start problem now for a year with no resolution (2000 S70 GLT SE). Been to the dealer four times for this problem. The car is there now and it has been over a month. They called me yesterday to say they hope the problem is gone but aren't sure - in other words come get it. How do I protect myself. I bought the car from this dealer used but am still under warranty. If I take it to another dealer, will they bounce it back as if it is the original dealers problem. I am so frustrated. I have only talked with the service manager. Should I be in discussions with anyone else there? HELP!
