S70 fuel problem S70

With your cap/rotor/wires being as old as they are and with your mileage, replacing them could do nothing but help. What kind of plugs did you use? Id recommend dealer plugs or just a good basic plug like Bosch Copper. You also may want to think about replacing your fuel filter if youve never done so. It may not affect your mileage problem, but its the best way to prevent having to replace your fuel pump. With a clogged filter the pump has to work extra hard. Also, a can of SEAFOAM or BG-44K(even better) in the tank at your next fill up should help.
