ATF Fluid Change V70-XC70 2001

I was going to change my ATF fluid this weekend, and my manual specifies using only Volvo Specially Formulated fluid. I routinely use MOBIL One Synthetic in my 96 855 Turbo Tranny. I called two Volvo dealers, and they can't cross reference the VOLVO ATF fluid for this car and say only this fluid should be used. Is this because of the AWD and/or bevel gear? Please advise anyone.
