Is my battery going? S70 2000

Hello everyone....Left my golve box door open a few weeks ago...car still started..barely. Anyhow, it is the original battery from 2000. The car seems to take a few clicks to start now...also, and this is the weird part. If you are listening to a CD...and you are on lest say track 5 and you tun off the car...the next time you start it should be on track 5...now my stereo always starts on track 1..like there is a loss of connection when the car is not started...any thoughts??...if it is the battery should I go with OEM?...Thanks all
