Engine Vibration V70-XC70 1999

Engine, (five cylinder) w/ 106000 mi, vibrates enough to feel it slightly through the steering wheel. Have new timing belt and spark plugs and get about 23 mi. to the gallon. Is this a problem or is it normal for a five cylinder engine. This is my first Volvo. Lovely vehicle!
