'98 V70 Price V70-XC70

For pricing, try kbb.com, and move the price down a bit, they're always well behind the curve.

The cloth seems to wear better than the leather. More disturbing is the timing belt, it's SUPPOSED to be changed at 70k, letting it go to 90k is really playing with fire. What other maintenance items did he skimp on?

For problem areas see the surveys at Kino Velez's website http://kinovolvo.velez.ws/

Common trouble spots include the AC evaporator($$$$), brakes, ABS module ($$$), torque arm bushing aka upper engine mount, sway bar end links, air pump, oil leaks, thermostat, heater core, light bulbs, glove box latch, automatic transmission, especially if the fluid hasn't been changed, ignition switch, dash lights and trip computer. Make sure ALL the electrical gizmos work.
