Stiff Power Steering - causes V70-XC70 2000

It could be the pump, but more than likely you lost to much ATF through a leaking seal. Hopefully, the tensioner for the belt is loose and you just need a new belt. Don't be shocked at the price for a new pump or steering rack, they are VERY expensive - $1200+. I hope you have good luck and it is just a loose vacuum hose. Ask lots of questions when you call your shop, like: can't I just add more fluid, or is there anything else it could be, or how dangerous will it be to drive it this way for the next 100K miles?
I could be time to change the serpentine belt, ask what condition it is in.
