Ralph--like Mike said in his post, check that relay if you don't have power to the foglights. However, you need to hijack a dwarf to do it. The foglight relay on my 97 850 sits in the top row on the far left hand side. MIke said the bottom row, but I guess it's from what perspective you're looking at it. The row it is in is the one closest to the top of the dash and on the far left side towards the driver's door. You can't see it even lying on your back with it ready to break. You first have to reach up and undo the two ten millimeter bolts holding in a wiring harness so you can move it out of the way. You don't have to take the bolts out, just loosen them up. The bolt holes are slotted and you have to mess with it before it suddenly comes free. I installed factory foglights on my 850 and the hardest job in the world was getting that little one-inch square cube relay into its hole on the relay board. In the end I had to pull the two, two-inch long relays out just to the right of it to see what I was doing and to get some finger room, put in the one-inch, and then reinstall the two-inchers. When I was all done the lights still wouldn't come on. In desperation I noticed that the relay was the same as several of those in the engine compartment relay box. I removed one of those, installed it, and the lights came on. Took the one that came with the lights and put it back in the top relay box. No problem with whatever it controlled. I can only think that I just didn't have the first one seated correctly. I didn't realize there was a spare on the board until Mike mentioned it. I don't know that it is the same one as what controls the foglights. If I had my car here I would dash out and check for you, but the wife has it. The only way to keep your back from breaking trying to get that relay in is to come in the passenger door side and lie on your back and use your left arm. Lying the other way, with your spine bent over the door sill forces you to use your right arm and it won't work. You won't be able to get your hand up in there until you loosen that little board with all the wires bundled to it and shove it out of the way.
