Help! Cruise control done in by a rat! 850 1997

Man, thats funny. I had a similar problem last year in my wifes Jeep. Seems a mother squirrel decided the engine bay was a good place to build a nest and have her babies. My wife pulled in the dirveway one day and said the brake warning light was on on the dash. When I opened the hood the nest was there against the firewall, with the babies in it, and the mother was running around the trees near the house going crazy. Seems those babies got a nice hour long highway ride with my wife to work, then back again 8 hours later, while the mother was home. Turned out she chewed through the brake fluid level sensor lead, and also all the firewall and underhood insulation. It cost me roughly $125 in parts to put everything right again. Happy ending though, I managed to get her to relocate the babies to a nearby tree, which made my 5 year old daughter very happy. Damn rodents.
