Speed meter and transmission problem, please help me 850 1995

I have a volvo '95 850 turbo wagon. I have speed meter and transmission problems. Usually it happends when i start my car after parked for a while, especially in the morning. the symptom is that the transmission stacked in the 1st gear and the speed meter is not working when it is happening. when the speed meter starts working, the transmission started to work just fine. and i do not have trouble rest of my ride. i do not see the blinking arrow on the instrument. (usually it blinks when a car has transmission problem) how do you guys think?? thank you.
