1998 XC AWD V70 CC V70-XC70 1999

1) My 99 smells like coolanyt inside too. My research suggests that it is a leaking or seeping heater core. There is a great post with pics over on volvospeed.com on replacemnt of the heater core in our cars, apparently it is rather "easy". I have not done it yet.

2)No sulfur in mine

3) I don't understand staining seats. Could you clarify? I have 112k on my 99 XC and tan leather seats are in good condition. Some gray or black lines in the leather grain but Lexol leather cleaner and conditoner usaly takes care of it when I do a full detail. comes back in about 2-3 months.

4) Go over to vovlvospeed.com and click repairs/maintenance link on left click enter "bay 13" then click transmission. Then click "850/s/c/v70 transmission" everything you need to know is there.

Good luck
