Removal of ABS control unit V70-XC70 1998

The torx socket is an E5, it could be the same of what you are calling U5, just make sure it looks like the one on the picture in my website.

When you remove the Air cleaner, there is enough space to work under the ABS unit from the side where the air cleaner was. You need to hold the tool with the left hand and use your right hand from the top (next to the brake fluid resevoir) to move the ratchet, or viceversa.
I just took some pictures yesterday, that actually show where the hands and the tool need to be to acomplish the job.
