Seems rather pricey... V70-XC70 1998

Hi Punx, I thought you might be one of the early responders. I though the price a little high too.

Is the clutch and seal an early warning sign of a well flogged auto?

Based on my experiences with the 740 and 940, this (115K mi and up) is also the time of mass failures of odd and obscure (to me any way) components.

I'll see what happens, I must admit some great hesitation in going V, there are not many Volvo dealers in lower Westchester Co. and my trusted independent is too far away for reoutine work.
