Replacing the S1 solenoid on 850 auto 850

You are right info on this repair was scarce until your post.

Just one question from me.

When you jacked the engine transmission up by 1.5 " did you have to undo or loosen the engine mounts/subframe/ or other components?

My solenoid problem

I had solenoids replaced by INDY workshop just after dealer said my transmission was mince and needed replacement. Car has been fine since. Like PNP problem I wonder just how many people pay for new transmissions when its actually solenoids that are faulty.
