Blown Fuse, Battery Cables

Could the fact that my radio fuse is blown have anything to do with my battery not being able to hold a charge and dying every couple days if I don't drive it. Also, any guides out there on how to replace the battery cables? The engine area is rather complex and my manual only tells how to replace the battery.
