Differences between Canadian Spec and US spec XC90's XC90

Thanks for the responses. I have received the following which clarifies the issue further.

"I just checked with our service manager and the cost for the conversions is roughly CAD 3,800. (I am a bit leery of quoting specifics as it will be some time before your car is back in Canada.) The instrument cluster, software and Daytime running light module have to be replaced with ones for the local market. Also, you will need a list of all recalls for the vehicle which will be provided by Volvo Canada. Once you have performed the work on the vehicle it then needs to be verified at Canadian Tire workshop. (They are the only authorized facility.) Please let me know if you have any further questions and/or concerns."

For those not aware, the Canadian Base model is 15,000 Canadian dollars more expensive than the US Model.

Cheers, Kevin
