Engine swap ONLY 850 1995

Thanks for you replies, Frank. I'm thinking about going for a year for year swap now, but there's a few things that I've been considering:

1. The '98 engine has only 3200 miles on it, the '95 engines all have around 140k on them.

2. I wasn't going to swap wiring harnesses for the '98 one, just move the '95 ones to the '98 engine - so I was swapping the harness that is on the '98 engine for the '95.

So, just to make sure, if the engines had the same sensors in the same locations and I used the '95 wiring, manifold and turbo, with what certainty would you say that this engine would work? How do I find out if they have the same internal specifications? Can I check with #'s or anything?

Thanks!

Bryan
