Is an 850 5 speed worth fixing? 850 1993

I have a 93 850 5 speed that I am debating whether or not to sink over $2000 for upgrades and repairs. With 127,000, it is time for struts, shocks, rotors and pads. My clutch is OK for now, but that will be another big expense later. If I do the repairs I intend to upgrade to Bilsteins HDs or Konis and lower the car with a set of springs from IPD. I also plan to put on 205/50-16s with new wheels. Even though this a rare 5 speed that I love, do you think this brick is worthy of the upgrades? I would love find a slightly newer 850 5 speed, but as you know, it's is like trying to find Bin Laden.

Your opinions are appreciated.

Thanks

John
