Mark...the funny thing is, my check engine light came on a few months back, on an on ramp, under mild excelleration also!!!then I noticed the car seemed to have more power...took it to the dealer...and it needed a mass air flow sensor.The truth is...there is a ton of reasons that will make that light go on...you have to get is scanned first...if it is a MAF...its cake to replace...
