Acceleration S70 1999

Didn't anyone ever tell you that a Swedish meatball always beats plain old rice?

I haven't posted on this board in over a year but came on tonight to see how other S70 owners are fairing. All in all, they seem happy with their purchases, apart from the minor glitches that crop up from time to time.

I've gotten challenged quite a few times at stoplights too. My Ferrari Red S70 tends to get noticed, especially when it's just been cleaned and the tires are gleaming. Other than some lighter Euro sports cars and the hi-performance Camaro/Firebirds that simply fly off the line, my Volvo usually wipes up the competition. Of course I only drive that way once in awhile, with sufficient provocation, and mainly just to minimize carbon buildup. I'm sure you understand.

Have you ever tested the top speed?
