Oil Changing questions 850 1995

I drive my '94 850 sedan onto 2 2X10's. The 3-4 inches is just enough to get under the car to pull the plug and the filter.
I punch a hole in the bottom of the filter and let it drain out the 6 ounces of oil that it holds before taking it off. Invest in a 'scissor' type filter wrench that will squeeze the filter and let you get it off easily. It has a 3/8 inch square drive socket in the bottom to let you get some leverage on it.
I too use ONLY VOLVO or MANN filters.
