Hi,

Tried your suggestion twice. By the time I finished pouring 1 qt of oil down the dipstick, the toque converter ran dry. Had son behind the wheel to turn off engine and wife watched the pumping oil while I poured in the new oil. Sorry but I cannot recommend a procedure that can possibly cause more problems then it cures.

By the way if you are ever in San Jose California drop me an e-mail. I would be more then happy to share a brew. My treat.
