Bright yellow/green stuff in my Synthetic Oil? S70 1998

I have 90K on my 98 S70 and just switched to Mobil1 synthetic 5W-30 from using dino oil. I have about 800 miles on the oil change, and have noticed that above the oil mark on the dipstick, and on the underside of the oil filler cap there is a slightly foamy yellow/green deposit. I've heard that synthetic can clean out sludge, is that what this is? Should I do an oilchange to clear this up?

Thanks,
db
