2001 V70 Manual Transmission Value V70-XC70

Hi Johnny,

It sounds like the car is OK and worth fixing the little items you mention.
*The sunroof drains need to be cleaned- see the 700/900 FAQ
There should be youtube videos.
* Rear window doesn't work- does it work with either switch?
do you have the rear window switches disabled?
* Seats ragged- Get seat covers, new skins, or re-done at a shop
* alarm and central locks need some troubleshooting.
* Get it painted if the cosmetics bug you enough.

Unless you have money to burn and have car fever, I'd fix those issues
and forget forking over a big pile of loot for some new thing that isn't as good as what your driving. The new car will come with maintenance issues and probably
be harder to DIY repair by design. Also with a family, you're better off with
Volvo steel around you than most new cars if you get in a crash.

Don't go into slavery for new cars.

Bill
