Wheels...

Tire Rack wheels are ok as far as integrity.

But two things: One, they're not very appealing (to me, at least). They sell them as something to put a snow tire on, and if you don't mind your car looking different for half the year (snow tire season is sometimes five months where I live), then sure, they work for that.

The bigger issue I have with them is that they corrode SUPER easy. If your factory wheels are corroded, then damn, you're in for a treat with the "Sport Edition" specials from the Rack. I think they paint right over the aluminum. No powder coat base, like quality factory Euro wheels. I have a set on my wife's V60, they look like crap after a few seasons (only one set of tires on them). Now looking for used OEs for when we get new snows next winter.

Anyway, get a set of used factory wheels. Your best bet. If used bothers you, pay up and get new factory wheels. Cheap aftermarket wheels on a nice car = hooptie.

And let's not be hard on stuff just because it's made in China. Aren't some US bound SPAs made in China? I believe all current XC90s are.
