264 mm Size 48 in my 850 850 1995

I've got the battery out of my 850 which i retired in 2007 and one in the car from 2015, I went to buy a group 47 as that's what all the charts say but it was an easy inch shorter than my 2007 battery and the 2015 in the car.

I check that this is what i purchased from my volvo dealer in 2015.

SKU: 30772221 Other Names: Battery Description:

600 amp. 600cca. Top Terminal. 74 AH,600 CCA. Group 48.
Replaces: 9438746 HazMat: This part contains hazardous materials. Extra shipping costs apply.

This part # 30772221 is NLA. Maybe just force the smaller group 47 on the masses. Well I guess i'll see if i can find a size 48 and compare it to my existing VOLVO batteries. That 264mm measurement doesn't include the feet, not sure i measured it a week ago and am old with brain fog.

I liked the 48, it would fit in my Audi's which have the battery under the rear seat. It's not exactly the same as the audi battery, group 41. Cables might not stretch to reach on Audis since 47 is smaller .

I'd prefer that perfect battery to match what I've had since 1995 not the punk Group 47 but beggers can't be choosy. So the books i saw don't even list group 48 as an alternative.
