Door locks V70-XC70

It's a good thing you don't live in Minnesota! To lock a car around here, just pour water around the door jam!

Wire coloring changes with Volvos, not just year to year, but month to month depending on the supply chain. The only way I know how to check your situation is to manually lock your car - with the door OPEN. Use a screwdriver and move the latch. The 850/70 cars had a small microswitch at the latch and if that was moved, the car thought the door was closed. There were times the micro switch would not move and the door remained OPEN.

Other than that, you will need to remove the door panel to find the wires and colors.
