What does GROUP 47 mean? I wanna buy 850 1995

Yes, I am thinking about a new battery. I'd always purchased from Volvo but they are too rude now. Batteries plus list 2 DURACELL batteries, GROUP 47. Dam, i don't want any hassles fitting a battery. Can I expect a perfect fit buying anywhere, like SAMS club, Batteries plus, walmart maybe??

This H stuff is new to an old fart like me.

BTW the 850 battery fits fairly well into my 2 old old Audi's which have the battery submerged under the rear seat. Well, i don't have the rear seats installed, maybe the 850 battery is a smidge taller. Sometimes i've had to cut some plastic off batteries that are supposed to fit in these 80's Audis.

That's why I'm three5bangers although i'm up to my 4th 5cyl car.
