Outdoor Driver Handle inoperative; Passenger won't Unlock C70

OK - somehow the passenger side unlocked and outdoor handle worked. Now I just have to prevent the car from being locked with fob, electrically with door switch or pushed down.

Only residual bad thing is drivers outer handle still can't open door so my guess is to go to body shop since I don't have necessary time to disassemble and fix myself. If they can't resolve for little $ it's going to be hard to justify keeping this fantastic C70 convertible that turns 22 on 12/29.... car is great otherwise.
