Top won't retract C70 2007

I drove the car a few weeks ago and the top retracted and went back up fine. Yesterday I drove it to work, with the top up, and after work the weather was nice and I tried to lower it. Didn't work. The windows lowered a few inches like they're supposed to and the locks in the rear unlocked, the engine revs dropped slightly for a second and that was all. Nothing. The display indicated that the top was not locked.

Pressing the raise button, the windows rolled up, I heard the locks close, and the display indicated that the top was up. Tried several times with no change. The rear deck lid did not raise, nothing.

Got home and check the main fuse for the roof, F15 in the engine compartment, it looked ok but I pulled and metered it. No problem, good fuse. I even swapped it with another 30A.

Got back in the car, tried to lower the top, same symptom. If it's a clue, I'd never noticed the engine revs drop before.

The trunks luggage panel was down as it should be. My simple OBDII scanner didn't show anything. Any other way to pull codes without a VIDA Dice?

Any ideas? I hate to think this has to go to the dealer for diagnosis as I want to sell this car but every time I get in there's something else wrong.

Thanks,

Erwin
