Considering 2013 S60 AWD code P0014 S60

Found a clean 2013 AWD T5 on a Lexus used lot, taken as trade-in. 65K miles, all services at Volvo dealer. Lexus did the usual detail, plus replaced battery & engine module. Previous owner reported "hard starts" and check engine light on when they took it as a trade-in. Code P0014 was thrown and Lexus claims it was the module and put a new one in. Does that sound right? I think P0014 is VVT cam sensor. Also I read that some of the engines from that period had high oil consumption issues. I have a an 850 with over 230k and no oil issues. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks
