Motor mount replacement C70

Thanks, Klaus. So I did this job last night and you're right- not fun. It was brutal. doing it in a heat wave didn't help, either. Some observations, for those thinking of doing this. You need a 15 mm swivel socket. No other socket/u-joint combo will work. There is simply not enough space. The front nut does come out without removing the fan, but had to unclamp the intercooler hose and push it aside for access. One of the hardest parts was finding a path to get the front mount out. Had to unscrew the engine ground strap and snake it out from underneath the car. Reaching the rear mount top nut was absolutely brutal. It's underneath the turbo and you have to bloody up your hand to get the swivel socket in down there and then a magic route for the wobble extension. Wow. Took several hours, but I got it done. The car is definitely quieter now. I discovered that the old ones were so sacked that the transmission was sitting on the subframe. I'm glad I got it done, but will never do it again. I'd rather pay someone to do it.
Rob
