ignition key 1997 850 replacement

I depends on your definition of wonky. If it seems to move too much when in position II, run. then it may be the spring in the electrical portion of the switch - this part is prone to wear.

If the key moves up and down while in the slot, well so long as it doesn't fall out while driving...

The 850 key assembly(cylinder) is close to the 960 in design, but I wouldn't bet on it.

The plastic cover around the steering cover requires a T15 and T20. The T15 is way up inside and hard to get to.
