I'm with rehsper though I've never experienced "limp home" mode.

The expected advice is to have your codes read COMPLETELY and COMPETENTLY. Either by a dealer or an experienced mechanic with VIDA. You're likely not to have one of the latter nearby.

Don't let a monkey blindly throw parts at the problem.

It may be a failing manifold pressure sensor.

Perhaps a faulty wastegate circuit (valve itself or lines to it) can cause your symptom. I experienced such a problem with a Saab where the charge air pipe popped off the ETM because boost pressure was allowed to go too high. However, my limp home stuff wasn't activated.
