The S60 is on its 3rd version. The V60 is like the S60 with storage space.

A totally agree with your conclusion of the CVT. Give it gas and wait for the tranny to catch up. Besides, the seats in the 60 are sooooo much better than any Subaru.

My wife and daughter are Dr Who fans. Daleks are given a bad rap.
